The DAT-Schaub Group has a world presence in sourcing, producing, warehousing, marketing and distributing a wide variety of products needed in the food industry with an emphasis on casings and ingredients.
The Group is one of the world’s largest producers of hog casings and one of the key players in the sheep casing industry. Furthermore, within artificial casings DAT-Schaub represents some of the best brands. Ingredients are also a key area with own blending facilities (in France and Norway), own recipes or blending according to customers’ recipes.
Within ingredients the Group represents some of the strongest brands. In specific markets the company also sells packaging material and machines for the food industry.
The Group turnover for 2011/2012 reached approximately 375 million EUR (2.8 billion DKK).
Today the DAT-Schaub Group employs approximately 2,000 employees primarily in Europe and, furthermore, the company is an active partner in two Chinese joint ventures with 1,800 employees.
